According to Peacock, REV Sales is committed to having a team member in each market the company serves. “Our highly motivated team has a passion and drive to succeed,” Peacock said. “With our manufacturers, we carefully plan our growth and execute it by working with our distributors and their customers. We believe that education and training for our team and our distributors is paramount to succeed.” Originally covering Western Canada himself, after eight months Peacock invited Bill Sykes to join the company to cover the region of Edmonton, Alta. Today, the company consists of six exceptional team members in each region. They include the following: Covering British Columbia, Rod Peacock has extensive experience in sales, with the majority of experience in the jan/san, industrial and foodservice industry. Working with Sysco for 13 years sparked Peacock’s interest in the warewash and industrial chemical business. The next step in his career was to establish, grow and sell a successful chemical manufacturing company which supplied a full product line across Canada. Today, in addition to owning REV Sales & Marketing, Peacock is also past chairman for the Canadian Sanitation Supply Association (CSSA) BC Chapter. Bill Sykes, who is now a partner in REV Sales, is a seasoned sales and marketing professional covering the Alberta region. With experience in both national and regional sales and marketing, Sykes has held positions in Canada and the Western United States, and has demonstrated flexibility in representing several categories of products at all levels of business. Known as a “business builder,” Sykes can comfortably deal with end-user contacts, distributor networks and dedicated sales forces. Paige Peacock is responsible for all the daily head office accounting duties. With a background in accounting, Paige has worked for companies such as Scott Paper and Sysco. Ian Holborn joined the team in 2010 and is working with Rod in BC. Ian has over 20 years of sales and marketing experience. As a Sales Manager for a Western Canada janitorial supplies distributor, he fostered continued growth through product knowledge and training to both his sales team and their growing customer base. During his ten years with Sysco Vancouver, Ian received many awards for continued sales growth as a Marketing Associate. He attributes his success to his ability identify those systems and tools which best help his customers grow and succeed in changing market conditions. Kim Saunders, responsible for the growing market of Calgary, Alta., recently joined REV Sales in October 2007. Saunders has 20 years experience representing major manufacturers of both non-food and food products in the commercial sector. His experience includes working with key accounts and distribution channels to increase market share, and managing advertising programs with a focus on customer service. Victor Meads, who is responsible for the regions of Saskatchewan, Manitoba and Thunder Bay, Ont., has over 20 years of inside and outside sales experience as well as Management in the hardware, paint and manufacturing sectors. Victor’s drive, determination and ability to build great relationships with customers is a winning combination, giving us a high quality professional presence in his market.
Rounding up the team is Alison Capell, working alongside our Western Sales Staff and responsible for all areas of Customer Service. Alison has over 20 years experience in Customer Service and Inside Sales, combined with marketing savvy including in-depth knowledge of advertising campaign planning, print media research, Ad placement and Trade Show coordination. Alison's work experience includes Briggs & Stratton, Glentel and Henderson Matting.
