REV Sales & Marketing Inc. can best be described by three words – “Entrepreneurial, Dedication and Growth.”

Started in December 2004 by Rod Peacock, REV Sales & Marketing has quickly become a leading sales agent in Western Canada – covering territories from Thunder Bay, Ont. through to Victoria, BC.

REV Sales is dedicated to sales growth for its manufacturers by working with distributors who also strive to grow their business.

Currently REV is partnered with manufacturers such as 3M, Gojo, Geerpres, Milwaukee, Kaivac, ProTeam, Viper and Henderson Matting. Additionally, the company also works with distributors such as Unisource, Fastenal, Wood Wyant, Busy Bee, Wesclean, Acme, Janitor’s Warehouse, Russell Food Equipment and Sysco, and retail outlets such as Princess Auto, Amre Supply and Federated Co-op, to name a few.

According to Peacock, REV Sales is committed to having a team member in each market the company serves.

“Our highly motivated team has a passion and drive to succeed,” Peacock said. “With our manufacturers, we carefully plan our growth and execute it by working with our distributors and their customers. We believe that education and training for our team and our distributors is paramount to succeed.”

Originally covering Western Canada himself, after eight months Peacock invited Bill Sykes to join the company to cover the region of Edmonton, Alta. Today, the company consists of six exceptional team members in each region. They include the following: 

Covering British Columbia, Rod Peacock has extensive experience in sales, with the majority of experience in the jan/san, industrial and foodservice industry. Working with Sysco for 13 years sparked Peacock’s interest in the warewash and industrial chemical business. The next step in his career was to establish, grow and sell a successful chemical manufacturing company which supplied a full product line across Canada. Today, in addition to owning REV Sales & Marketing, Peacock is also past chairman for the Canadian Sanitation Supply Association (CSSA) BC Chapter.

Bill Sykes, who is now a partner in REV Sales, is a seasoned sales and marketing professional covering the Alberta region. With experience in both national and regional sales and marketing, Sykes has held positions in Canada and the Western United States, and has demonstrated flexibility in representing several categories of products at all levels of business. Known as a “business builder,” Sykes can comfortably deal with end-user contacts, distributor networks and dedicated sales forces.

Paige Peacock is responsible for all the daily head office accounting duties. With a background in accounting, Paige has worked for companies such as Scott Paper and Sysco.

Covering the Okanagan/Interior region of British Columbia, Jonathan Holbrooke has 23 years of experience in the painting and renovation industry, including the sales of paint products to accounts such as Home Hardware, Benjamin Moore and Home Depot. His past agency sales experience is a true asset as Holbrooke works directly with distributors and manufacturers.

Kim Saunders, responsible for the growing market of Calgary, Alta.,  recently joined REV Sales in October 2007. Saunders has 20 years experience representing major manufacturers of both non-food and food products in the commercial sector. His experience includes working with key accounts and distribution channels to increase market share, and managing advertising programs with a focus on customer service.

Brad McIntosh, who is responsible for the regions of Saskatchewan, Manitoba and Thunder Bay, Ont., was previously sales and service manager for Atlas Graham. Working with physicians and pharmacists in the consumer health area has provided McIntosh with a unique perspective into various aspects of the business. His experience with manufacturers, distributors and retail markets gives him great insight into the jan/san and industrial industries.

According to Peacock, REV Sales faces a growing and changing industry where the focus on sanitation is becoming more and more important. Keeping up with new aspects of sanitation and methods of cleaning is dealt with by regular updates from its partner manufacturers as well as specific training for the REV team, either in its territories or in their partner manufacturers’ facilities.

As REV Sales enters its fourth year in business, it will continue to be known as the company that is respected based on its integrity and success, as well as providing great value to the manufacturers who hire the agency and the distributors who they work with on a daily basis.
